How to create a summation / group summation / calculate cumulative / Total variable ?

At run time we need to add many variables , form summation of values , group summation . This can be done by the following way.

1.Create a variable . For ex Dailybalance – type Integer
2.In the library window select Total . ( Note if Library window is not available on the screen go to View→Docking Panes → Library )

3.Drag Total and place in the *.jrxml design window where you want to display the sum.
4.In the design window , the summation dialog will appear.

5.Select the Variable. For ex Dailybalance.
6.Click ok
7.A new Variable will be added into the design window.
8.Check in the variable window(left) a new variable with the name SUM_Dailybalance_1 will be created.
